2000 F150 Alternator Fried Electrical - Need Wiring Diagram

My cousin has 2001 Ford F150 truck. A couple of weeks ago while driving the gauges started going crazy and smoke started coming out from the defroster vent on the drivers side. He pulled over and turned off the truck. He immediately knew that it was a electrical short, because of the smell. He had to turn it on again to get it off the street but this time the damage was done. He could not get it out of park. He called me for help. After pulling out a few hairs I disconnected the wires to the brake pedal sensor and was able to move it. The power windows, power mirrors, dash lights, interior lights, passenger air back light, Overdrive light, tail lights, AC blower, hazards and radio did not work. All these fuses blew out. The alternator's voltage regulator was bad and was overcharging. It also damaged the battery. Replaced the battery and alternator and the truck was running again. Back to the blown fuses and finding the short. I took apart most of the drivers side dash and couldn't find any burnt wires. All pointed to the fuse block and module on the back of it. So we replaced it with a used unit from the local salvage yard. It fixed all but the blower motor. Now the blower motor and passenger air bag light would stay on for a few seconds and then blow the fuse. I replaced the blower relay that sits under the dash below the radio. This fixed it...we thought. He drove for a few miles and the AC blower fuse blew out again. The fuse for the Overdrive also blew out. Any one have a wiring diagram for a 2000 F150? We are really considering replacing the wiring loom behind the dash. My cousin is currently pricing a used loom but I bet even used it's going to be expensive. I'd figure replacing it since were probably going to take apart the whole dash any way to find the short. And if something else blows we're going to be pissed if we have to go in there again.

Update...still can't find a wiring diagram. He was worried that it would not pass smog and his worries came true! We also learned something new. He took it for smog and didn't pass because there was not enough history, information stored in the computer. My cousin explained to him what his truck had recently gone through. He also showed him the old fuse box and pointed out where the battery acid damaged the paint. The smog tech...NICE guy, told my cousin to drive it around for at least 40 miles and bring it back. 65 miles and a day later, retested and it passed, NO CHARGE! REALLY NICE for my cousin as he recently started working and is on a budget.
